PROCESS OF PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
The process that is supportive to ensure that the organizational goals have been achieve in a more competent way is known as the process of performance management. The process of performance management is important to enhance the organizational performances. The process of performance management should focus on the improvement of skills and competencies of employees. Further, the process of performance management should focus on the improvement of overall performances of employees and the organization. Implementation of a suitable process of performance management is supportive to enhance the organizational performances (Bhattacharyya, 2011).
The process of performance management starts with planning stage. Here, the management of the organization should plan how to manage the performances of employees. Further, the management of the organization should plan to monitor the performances of employees. The management of the organization should identify the methods to make the individual’s goals and objectives align with the organizational goals and objectives. After planning the performance management system, the management should implement the strategies to develop the performances of the employees (Lamont, et al., 2011).
After developing the plan for the management of the performances, the management of the organization should implement the strategies to monitor the progress of the performance management system. Further, the management of the organization should focus on the improvement of the performances of the employees. Further, it is important for the management to identify the methods to review the performances of employees. After reviewing the performances of employees, the best performing employees should be rewarded. Both the financial rewarding methods and non financial rewarding methods can be introduced to reward the employees and rewarding will be supportive to motivate employees and enhance their performances (Falcone, 2017).
